hi guys, i am setting up a new forum in addition to my blog (see site in sig). I do not want to copy what we already have (like DP forum), i am looking for input what you would like to see in a SEO forum. I am possible planning to do something unique, eg. a forum maybe only specializing in selling services or simiiar. Just brainstorming right now and if someone has some good ideas let me know.
Target the forum only at potential clients looking to purchase SEO services. Only Let potential buyers or clients become free members. Then charge a small fee for seo company's to advertise on your site. If it works you will get plenty of traffic or visitors from the SEO world too, but let me know first.
just and idea. in my opinion, people are mostly visiting the other forums for only only signature links and you must have a good pr before you start the forum
Do a cheap section with very basic articles, then premium section for either paid content, tools etc.... Also be sure to cover black, grey and white..too many others avoid this..but its reality..
i always figure if i do a blackhat section (which i VERY MUCH want) i could get penalized by google or something...don't know. I wanted to put an article on ezine with some basics BH techniques...i couldnt since they told me no asrticles about BH SEO
the problem is i already have my blog with the articles etc...so the forum would be to serve a special purpose. But..customer-support is a good idea !
