Hi I have a wallpaper site(ownedpix.com), I need ideas on how to get more traffic to it. As of now I get around just 50 to 100 visitors. It too low I guess. If you ahve any idea on this, please suggest me some! Thanks in advance.
Just an idea, maybe you can create a blog page on the same page and start writing some articles about the photo that can relate to your pix. it can start building your PR, also the traffic. For example; nature pix - travel ideas, sport - ESPN, etc. hope it helps.

Social Media is a great way to get maximum traffic on your site. you will get maximum visitors by Signing up on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace etc and post your wallpaper site on these social medias, Add more and more friends on it or Follow the people related to your niche. It will help you to increase your visitors .
Another thing that may work for this site is actually submitting your top wallpapers to stumbleupon. Also you can try watermarking a few cool wallpapers with your url and submit them to flirckr, deviantart and such sites.
