Hey guys I have created a new Webmaster forum, it has a great design and runs on vb. I am aiming at the design part of the webmaster side. http://iDotSource.com Now the thing is, how do i get this forum off the ground and out there on the net. Get people registering and posting daily. And just get a good community going? I have had it submitted to a number of directories and web master related sites. But as yet the traffic has not been boosted by much. We have a small member base right now. I have started a few "post incentives" to try and get people posting. Free Hosting and free domain names.. I am also contemplating offering a weekly prize of a fully developed site. To the top poster or the member that has contributed most to the forum. I have a small budget for the advertising as it is approaching Christmas, and I'm sure most of you understand the financial strain of it. So basically, after my SA! 1: Best place to advertise? (can you give me direct links) 2: Best Keywords and Description to work with? 3: How to get members signed up and posting? Any help would be much appreciated. You have to offer something that the countless other webmaster forums don't. Something like ConquerYourNiche, which started recently. Oh, and they had a large JV launch, so a lot of people heard about the event from a lot of big names. This bit from your sig should drive people. Get members to promote the forum to increase their chances of winning perhaps?
