I'm in a dispute with someone regarding a payment. I don't have to tell the entire story right now, but if I send a request for payment to someone, what will it say on their history? Also, if they say they paid the request, what will it show? Any screenshots? Thanks a bunch for who ever replies
When he pays it will show up in your account activity and account history, if you have a dispute PayPal can follow all your and his transactions, you don't need to provide proof of a transaction or lack of to PayPal themselves.... Other than that, your questions are not very clear.
Back in September I designed a vbulletin skin for this guys website. He sent me the initial down payment. Once the design was completed I asked for the final payment. He only sent half and said that he would send the rest after I made a few more changes (changes that was not in the contract) He wanted me do the exact same skin, but in a different color. In attempt to get my final payment, I went ahead and did that. After I uploaded it to their website I lost admin access and they didn't reply back to any of my e-mails. A little while ago they e-mailed asking for a backup of all the images because they had a server crash. I told them I never received the final payment and if they wanted the images I would need the final payment. They basically got real mad and kept saying that they had already sent the payment. They submitted several disputes through paypal trying to get back every penny. The final thing I sent to them was a paypal request for $50.00 October 6th as you can see in my screenshot below. I basically think they photochoped their screenshot to make it look like they sent me a payment October 6th instead of my sending a request for payment. also notice how they didn't have any paypal fees subtracted from their account.
