Hi guys, I want to start my private RapidLeech. The main use will be downloading and uploading large files >1gb. Also if economical i would also like to use the RAR/UnRAR feature. Though it is not necessary. I want to know which type of hosting will be good for me. I have tried HostGator shared hosting but was dissappointed as the RAR/UnRAR for larger files ended prematurely and uploading gave only 400kbps speed and the script use to time out. So it would be good if i could get D/L U/L speed of >1000kbps. Should i go for some shared hosting or VPS. Also suggest some cheap and good options for the same. Thanks.
hi i would recommend going for you're own vps server i currently use daredevilhosting.com theyre pretty cheap and offer good speeds
i dont use there services for leeching files just for testing software so couldnt really tell you. but for the small price they charge its worth trying them
Don't go for daredevilhosting.com they took my money, did not refund it yet. You know the excuse? we ran out of ips. Days later they said, a new owner took over so they can't refund. ..they do not have technical expertise and do not offer satisfaction guaranteed. Stay away from Daredevilhosting.com
Sparkgate has plan for rapidleech. i have use it for couple months. For rar/unrar its depends with your script
I agree with brainwater. I have also been using Sparkgate a rapidleech VPS plan for a couple of months. Download speed is great, upload speed varies from time to time. Overall, it is good. I haven't had any problems so far.
