need hlep on cronjob

    I am setting up a Webbased mail in my existing domain. but not able to understand how to setup cronjob. can anyone help me out here

    Which web hosting are you using, if setting cronjob is not available in your control panel, that might mean your web host does not allow it.

    i m using hostgator in cpanel it has Cronjob. option. but still i m unable to undersatnd it
