I see you already have a website. Check your host Cpanel for Fantastico. If you have it you can install it from there. Wordpress has a website and you can go there for help as well as in your admin panel once you set it up. I have mine setup in my root diectory in a folder called wordpress. If you don't have Cpanel with Fantastico you can get it from here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress . I would go the Fantastico route 1st, it is easier. My host has this. Here's their website for which I have the multi domain plan: http://www.zzhosting.com/plans.htm I'm new at this as well, but I have a wordpress blog installed and submitted. Good luck!
Does your host support addon domains? If they do then you will be able to start your wordpress blog on another domain. Which host are you using? If you have cpanel look for "Addon Domains" button on the first row.
Are you going to blog about credit cards? If so, you don't have to have a separate domain, just make a folder for your wordpress files and call it what you want. I left mine as Wordpress and my new blog is at http://floridabassfishing.us/wordpress/ . Otherwise if you want a new domain, be sure you have a multi domain package such as the poster above said with your webhost or get one on another webhost such as the one I state in my original post.
