Hi members i got a problem with paypal. They have made my account with limited access with the reason that they came to know that my account is being used by some third party? They want me to fill the steps of resolution center, but i've no credit card and i've personal account and i had never used the credit/debit card here in paypal account. Is there any one facing this kind of problem. Waiting for the suggestions, Nazia
They must have asked u to send identification proof,utility bill etc,send them and then call them up,ur account will be restored.
They have asked me to go on resolution center and complete the steps there to remove the limited access. I have done the two steps but regarding credit/debit card i m unable to give any information because i have none credit/debit card. What should i do next?? Waiting......... Nazia
as far i know, in this case you have to make it verified. i am not sure (i asked this question to my friend and he told me that)
So u want to say that the only solution is that i've to make a credit card and then enter it in paypal account?
No paypal do not accept the debit card with VISA logo.I have also tried this.But no results.You have use VCC or CC.
you from India?? if you from India then no debit card will work and only International CC will work which country you from?
Which country paypal account u have? Since u r unverified,then how can they ask u to submit CC details? I think u get verified first.
If you are from India then your International Debit Card would not work as they most probably only work in the ATM and not as a Credit card payment tool. You will need an International Credit Card. However, other countries may have different regulation as to Debit Card like in Singapore a Debit Card can be used internationally like a credit card and can be used for verification.
The best option is really to get a real bank in India to issue you an International Credit Card to avoid any further problems in the future. There is really no point just using a loophole which may sooner or later be fixed. VCC unless they are bank verified, are not really for you to use and defeats the purpose of verification. Besides when they ask for your credit card statement, you have nothing to show with a VCC.
Please suggest me if there any problem if my bank account that i have been used in paypal is different and i make the credit card of some different bank? Will it accept credit card of any bank?? Nazia
It should support credit cards from any bank from a paypal supported country. In your case, since you are from India, it would mean any Indian bank which issues international credit card can be used. You do not need to get the credit card from the same bank where you have a bank account. Of course, it helps if you have a banking relationship with the bank as they will be more willing to offer you a credit card. I know in India, there are two kinds of credit cards, one which is International which you can use in any country in the world and there are the domestic cards which can be used only in India and Nepal. In the end, just make sure that your name and address which you use for your paypal account matches that of your bank account and credit card.
