So I bought this site, I posted here about I problem I had, and someone kindly had the answer. But now I have a bigger problem. I want to change the site around, but have no idea how to. I want to add text and make more of a homepage, add ads, and change the content around. But I have no idea how to do any of it. I have tried messing around with it, but don't want to mess up anything. Is there anyone who could help me, or point me to a tutorial. Thank you! Noc
It would be great if you could direct us to the previous thread so we know what the template/ design looks like. So basically you are looking to edit your .html file and i assume you have the software installed to do this. We really need more information to help you with this matter. All i can say at the mintute is to go to google and search for editing html files or visit a website such as pixel2life and look at tutorials on that website. ToxicHost.
Oh ok thanks. Well the last post didn't have much info about the site because it was a CPanel question, but the URL is HERE. No do you need a software for this, I am a complete noob. What would be a good software.
Thanks for providing me with your site Right your site is a basic html site and its very easy to add content to the webpage. It seems like all the pages are set up for you and coded it html. you also said in your previous post that you have messed around with editing your website and what software did you use to do so. Friendly based software such as Microsoft Frontpage can open html files and you can edit them just like a word document and upload them to your root folder on your ftp. You can also download a trial of dreamweaver which basically is the same as frontpage but is designed for web designers. Ok thank you, and I have a mac and have been using textedit, which is a notepad, but I have tried to use dreamweaver but it will not let me open the files.
So I really would like to learn all about coding and stuff like that, so would anyone like to do a partnership deal. I give you the site and you get to keep most/all of the profits, and you teach me how to edit and code and change stuff around.
