I work for this company and am also an affiliate. They have a good CMS product, I think, but their website isn't that great. They are asking for feedback on it. I have given some, but I thought some experienced, unbiased feedback might help. Anyone willing? The URL is http://www.giicms2.com

P.S. This is not my affiliate URL. This is the main URL. I am not looking for sales here...just some feedback.

Edited later: I am mainly interested on the content. If you know anything about CMS solutions, I wouldn't mind feedback on their version, too.

    Thanks.
    Jim

Yeah...see what you mean. Guess I should have specified....I'm more interested in feedback on the contect rather than the design.

I think the cms software is very nice, and the template section looks very good. One thing I would say is that the main index page really doesn't get to the point of what this product does. The site is assuming you already know what this cms system does. Maybe a short, concise description of what this app does, and then lead into the various versions, extensions, templates, etc. It just flows much better that way. Hope that helps.

Like most "CMS" products (I really hate that term...talk about a corporate buzzword!) I find that the content is a complete pantload.

    Take this for example:
It looks so nice, let's say it twice!

That's from the Enterprise solution, by the way. I don't think I can link to it yet.

Not only that, what is it actually saying? Like the employee of one of my clients always asks, "HOW can we do these things? They never explain it."

Like most products of its ilk, the code is bulky and rife with errors.

And these guys may not be selling their own software:
The templates are eerily reminiscent of Template Monster's templates. I'd almost bet that's where they came from.

This is just another in a long, oversaturated line of products that are marginally useful at best, and will ultimately do more harm than good to whoever buys them.

    DIY...only way to fly.

The website is not too bad,
but for cms solution it might be better to put demo without a request!
