Not a lot time ago I started to work in one big company. I'm looking for customers and offering software. The problem is that I don't know how to write first letter that it wouldn't look like a spam. First try to become friends? Or straight away to send an offer? To leave url or wait for answer? What kind of letters or offers you notice and read and which ones you delete straight away? Will be very nice to get some advices
Hi simona, I'm assuming you want to write a series of emails that are sent periodically. It's a proven method that can work very well, but only if you write the emails well. You'll definitely want to write the email in a friendly, easy to read manner. Remember that no one wants to read an email that sounds too professional -- they're boring to read and hence no connection is made between you and the potential customer. It's best to make the email as personal as possible (use I, you and me -- stay away from the we and us) and brief. Never include long paragraphs. People want information in quick doses, so short 3-4 sentence paragraphs work well. I'd wait until the 3rd or 4th email before you start to refer them to a product. If you throw something at them straight after they sign up to your list they'll likely unsubscribe.
Agree with PonyNugget.. Be their friend.. And even when offering product , offer it like you were a friend...
That is a difficult question to answer since any email I get from anyone that I don't know I throw into my junk mail. The only thing I can think of is to create a small site, and add your software, and such to the site, along with an option to subscribe to your email list. The only way I wouldn't junk your emails was if I subscribed to them.
Simona .. is it lovecash.biz you are trying to promote? If you hang around forums here long enough you can make lots of good friends who'll help.. And might even buy
