I was wondering if i submit a site to as many article directories do i have a chance to reach the first page on google???

depends on the niche, the keywords you choose, etc...., etc.....

So, to answer your question. Yes, you have a chance to reach the first page on google. Everyone has a chance to reach the first page. However, some chances are slimmer than others.

 

I would say that the chance is not very good just by doing dir submissions.

 

Going only with article/directory submission may or may not get you to the first page of google. It depends on a lot of other factors as well.
