Need Help

Hello guys,

My domin age in 8 month and its listing on SERPS but not a 1st page, and some one advice me I should change my discreption or keywords and make it short. And my question is if I’ll do this then it can effect of my sites ranking? Should I make it short my description and keywords? I am little bit confuse what should I do can you please suggest me? Any advice will be appreciated

Make sure your description and keywords are descriptive of your site, and not spammy. The description should be written in such a way that people (yes people) when reading it will think: hey, that's what I was looking for and click on the link.

The title tag is actually more important for ranking your site highly for keywords. I've come to feel that in a title-tag it should be something like this:

keywords > domain name or company title

But to rank highly you also need to be finding sites that will link to you. Preferably sites that are in your niche or in a related niche. Check my sig for more of the basics on SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

 

Changing your description tag will probably make little difference to your ranking.

When writing your description tag focus on writing copy that will attract user to click on your result. Look what the other sites have written and better it.

 

Focus on getting more links directly to the page you want to get higher rankings for. The onsite factors do matter, but incoming links are far more important.

make your descriptions as short as possible.. put to your descriptions what searchers can see to your site.. target 5 major keywords that best describes your site and then compose a phrase containing that 5 keywords...

What are you trying to rank on the first page for? Let us know what the URL is and we can analyze your site to give you a better direction to head in. In most cases changing just the description and or meta keywords won't do much to boost your ranking at all.

 

Don't change your description it may effect on your SERP, because you targeted again a new one...

The only thing that you do is Get valuable links on your site with your targeted anchor text...

 

using too long description is not good. using too short description is not good too. the description must be over 60 chracter but not so long
