I don't want to give up but seriously .. what makes a sale.. I am promoting 5 different products and have 2 websites .. NO TRAFFIC Any comments appreciated
well i'm in the same boat, I think I got the concept though, Just keep reading and reading sooner or later we will figure it out lol pm me if you want, we will figure it out together since we are in the same boat haha. Aslo I see that you use webs as your host, at least the one in your signature, if your doing seo you need a custom domain name, because i'm pretty sure that the free webs websites don't show up in search engines you have to buy a domain which you can do through webs.
im in the same boat as all of you i own a small hosting server i can even host you all for 2.00 to 10.00 a month pm me for more info on this Have a nice day
Did you try Youtube ,upload 3 or 5 videos per account. And always upload your avatar to YouTube account also change YouTube channel tags, description and name. If your channel Look proffesional then users gonna subscribe you and watch your videos. Now rinse and repeat and you gonna get your first sale ! You can Join Traffic Exchange sites, build your email list "Money is on the list " : 1.Setup aweber account 2.Squeeze page ,giveaway item and inviting people to opt into receive it 3.Promote your squeeze page : -Online Article Distribution -Press Releases -Guest Blog Posts -Online Videos -Online Forums and Discussion Groups -Solo ADS -Facebook...etc Ther's no magic button..the system work like this ..if you are desesperate to make your first sale I suggest you to spend some money to build your list (soloads or PPC )
2 months is a short time. While seasoned marketers may be able to make several thousands in this time span, if you are a newbie you may find it difficult to even break-even (in terms of website domain purchase and hosting costs) in the first few months. Aggressive marketing can sometime get you on your feet in 4-5 months. I have been dabbling in Clickbank products' affiliate marketing for about 2 years and now (and I must admit I submitted a few articles here and there and it was all kind of passive, plus my websites really never got me any sales) I managed to complete the Clickbank CDR only this month. So, it may take some time for you ... depends on how steep your learning curve is, what products you are promoting etc. Best of Luck.
Well, it is a numbers game... if you'd have an average 2% conversion rate with a specific LP, then you need 50 targeted visitors to make a sale. If you post a link to that LP somewhere, and you get 15% CTR (click-through rate), then you need ~350 visitors on that page to make a sale. This is all statistical, in reality you might send 400 visitors to the clickbank LP without getting a single sale, or you might get 2 sales from your first 30 visitors. And it doesn't really help having 2 websites and focusing on 5 different products when you can't make a sale with a single one of them. You're just diluting your efforts, see the example above and imagine how many times harder it is when you advertise multiple products. I'd recommend you to choose just one of them, and focus completely on it until you start making sales. Also, - how many articles did you write? - how many ads did you post to craigslist (or other classifieds sites)? How many were alive (not ghosted/deleted) in the end? - how many forums did you advertise on, what number of posts/threads, and did they stay alive (not deleted by mods)? How much traffic did you get from all of this? Just get rid of expectations in this phase, and focus on building traffic to one (or max 2) products, play the numbers game, write tons of articles, posts, upload videos, just do whatever you can to get some solid traffic to that page. It will be much easier when you make your first sale, trust me, it will motivate you to work harder than ever.
Me too, i am on clickbank for 15 days but i have no sales, i wrote over 3 articles and i post answers with refferals in yahoo answers + i write articles on my blog but it is in french Support me with a very cool way to promote clickbank
I know how you feel. I have been there. Try freesafelist sites to promote your squeeze pages to. This increased my subscriber list from 124 to 438 in about a month and a half. I also made money from clickbank (before it took me about 2 years to make money with clickbank). This is the best way to get traffic to your website and make money with clickbank. Don't give up.It's about to get better for you.
Good advice about focusing on one or 2-3 products at max and building a list, all i'm not doing.. But the, which products to pick, the highest gravity ones? or something else totally?
Yes, you should start with the products that have the highest gravity because they are the ones peoples are buying. That's a good starting point. an example would be a product here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzN-1sMBwEs that I am having success with getting opt ins. I have gotten over 40 opt ins submiting to free safelist sites. That product is number one on clickbank right now.
Thanks for the video! At the moment honestly I have no time to follow a program, because I have already many things to put in motion, the more I do the more I have.. Honestly it would feel better to just follow a program/plan step by step, day after day. But first I want to get the cb contextual widget product I've bought in good use, and it doesn't work, no problem I can revert it later. But at least I need to give a chance by having it working on thousands of visits a day, and see.. But I know eventually when I'm done I'll have to focus on my original plan which was to promote to french speaking market since I believe it is a lot less competitive than the english one and I'm lucky I can write and speak french. At least one positive (or negative depends on how you look at it) thing is that the number of products in CB in french and with a well done sales page is very limited, so my choice is easier to pick a few products and promote them only.
