they are saying that you need to verify your domain ownership now do 1 thing make a new page on your site for example www.xyz.com/adsense.htm and put a text there saying for google adsense verification and under that put " This post confirms my ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program policies and Terms and Conditions: ca-pub- here put your pub number " and again resubmit your application and this time put this xyz.com/adsense.html link in url field i hope you understand now
