I've just started an internet marketing blog. However, I don't really know how to drive traffic to it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Start with the basics. Content, Linkbuilding, Guest blogging, Social media, discussion forums (link to your blog in the signature) and add it to the review section here at DP. Build relationships with other people who are blogging about the same (lots of people here at DP are).
I agree with Lacey.. You need to SEO a website for an uncompetitve term if you want to learn. Just pick a longtail term and run with it...

Many ways can help us to bring more traffic, for example article marketing, backlinks, social media and so on. I think you can get many ways by searching on net.
Well you want to do something that you don't know. Nothing wrong with it. Start discussing about it online on social media sites. Do on page optimization and some link submissions to top free directories. Join online blogging sites and and spread your feeds to rss submission sites.
Talking to people on this forum with a link in your sig, social networking, blog commenting, then of course SEO (search engines)
