    Well why do you want another method when .htaccess being simple and easy. If you need help with the .htaccess code, just google it, you will get perfect examples.

    Google treats www .floridadestinationbeachwedding.com and floridadestinationbeachwedding.com differently. Without www, it considers all sub domains too. So it affects site page/s indexing. But I am not sure if it will affect Rankings or not. Its always better to stick on to one format.

    If it is hosted on a cpanel enabled server and if your host permits, this is possible through the admin panel and need not write a .htaccess

    you can add www to your site link from google webmaster tools

    Nope. thats not true. You cannot add www from Google webmaster tools. There you can just suggest Google to consider your domain with or without www while indexing the pages. However the actual change happens only when you do URL rewrite in .htaccess.
