I asked this question like 2 years ago and got attacked on here. I have no idea how to start any of the stuff offered on this site. I really want to get into making money on the Internet and have read countless posts and just tons of guides but just don't get it or how to get anything started. I am really desperate at this point. I am a college student going to go for marketing and I am jobless at the moment (my city has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country). my mother was laid off last monday due to budget cuts and is finishing up her masters this may which is good but she is on unemployment now. this is kind of a desperate time for me and i really don't like having to resort to asking for help because i like to do things on my own. i just need someone to point me in a good direction. i have like 600 dollars or so but that is all i have to live on and pay bills with and everything. if somebody could point me in a good direction or anything i would be really grateful.

Go read. Use google. Roam around this forum. Read more. There. It's a start. You don't have to immediately spend a penny while you're in the learning process and you don't need anyone to nudge you down the path.

See this is what I am talking about. A person asks for help, then doesn't get any. What a great world we live in huh? People on this site ask for help all the time whether it be to sell something or trade something or clicks or visits or whatever and they get it. When I ask for genuine help in a time of great struggle and need I get denied and made out to look stupid.

You were give a simple answer to your very general question and you take it as an 'attack' or you weren't given any help.

Check your initial question. You want to earn online, right? How do you want to do it? We don't know for you didn't give us any information what is it that you can do and what is it that you have the desire to do.

That's why my response was for you to read. Read and learn and hang around here to learn which type of online work is best suited for you. Your initial post didn't tell us anything concrete, so it's your job to tell us which of the many web-based work you want us to tell you about.

    Here are some things:

    - Sell goods or services
    - Goods, tangible and downloadable products
    - Services, anything IT related or other services that you can think about
    - Maintain websites to earn from adsense or other ad network
    - Be an affiliate

Now, what do you want to do exactly? And stop the attitude if you really wanted to network and get assisted.

if thats how you feel after what was posted, then this isn't the place for you.
Wal-Mart and McDonald's is hiring, go there. i don't think they'll hurt your feelings.

I think you need to make or buy some websites or blogs and then you can sell links on there and can earn good money.

Actually they aren't hiring. We have 17-18% unemployment. :)
