Hello everyone out here... I am Siddhant from INDIA..... actually i wanted 2 know if companies like google, yahoo, rediff, indiatimes and others provide summer/vocational training for web technology and if they do then how to be a part of that training..... Please guys help me out as i m really looking forward for this training thing as it will help me allot in my future and it will also be a good leaning for me... If you know some other good companies providing such kind of training (anywhere in India) then please mention it over here...
They don't provide training, but they often sponsor conferences and events. Most of their code is proprietary, and google and yahoo generally only hire programmers with a doctors degree in computer science, so there's very little chance of getting anything along the lines of programming training from them. They publish a lot of open source documentation which is great, but again, nothing in the form of personal training.
