    Hi Guys,
I am hoping someone here can guide me in the right direction.
I backed up a website on a server that was giving me headaches.

I created a new hosting account for this website on a new server at hostgator.

Now my problem is this, and i am using cpanel.

How do i restore the site?
I have backups of the databases, and the home directory. The site is a wordpress site.

What i need to know is this..
I know there is a function in cpanel where it says upload/resore a home backup and the same for the databases.

Do i just login to the new site, and simply clik on restore databases and home directory, or what do i need to do first, like do i need to create databases before i restore anything.

I am really stuck on this one guys, so many thanks to someone who can help me here

    Cheers guys

The order shouldn't matter. So go into cPanel, restore the backups, and you should be good!
The backup of the database created automaticaly creates the the database again if it's not already there, just to make your life easy :)
