I have designed a banner in PS and I am new on this site and I have just started PS. please give some suggestion/comments on my 1st banner and also advice to how to make more efficient banners.
I think the design was great but I think you need to fill-up the empty space. Try to play and explore more. PS is so mysterious and it can give you an amazing design once you found it.
I think the title is very difficult to read.Make the tile readable, experiment with colors. You can learn some techniques by following some tutorials. You can find tutorials with the help of search engines. Thanks!
Thanks for suggestion .... I'll try to make more efficient design and will do the experiment with colors and other things .... but please put some links through which I can design some animation in my design .... that is the thing i want to learn .... that looks good in graphics design .....
First of all I'll advise you don't use such Topics from now on, when you are asking for reviews. However that not being the issue. I'll say its a nice effort since you are new. However I'll advise don't go for unneccessay glows unless required. And Keep it simple with legible fonts, and sleek look.
this is good... the thought behind designing is good... As you've used lense under the Search engine and the font of the Flash games is also funny passing the message of games. but the flash games text is not visible.. it should be very neat and clean.. thanks
Two things... 1. Your choice of topic title "Need help..." isn't very informative. 2. Your chosen banner size of 450x135 desn't seem to be a standard banner size. Check this site out: www. webpencil.com/bannersizes.php There you can see a list of the standard banner sizes available. If you plan on using the final image as a banner it won't fit onto many sites into spaces they may have designated for banners. Apart from that I have to go with what was already mentioned - large amount of redundant space (which isn't always a bad thing) but the font could be better and the effects you've chosen to apply to it make it a little tricky to read.
