hi all i recently downloaded a free wordpress theme for my website. I was looking to change the title of the default theme name to my website name but unfortunately nothing is visible (look at my website. please help me to get the titles visible in white color. i have not changed any script inside. just went to General-> and changed previous name to World This Second in Blog Title option. please help urgent
You shouldn't change the header title in that way.. you must create or make a title banner image and upload it. Some themes provide option to upload and change the header title image directly through its interface otherwise Go to Edit Css options in Appearance Tab and change the header name. Added later: Solution to your problem Log into your WP admin Go to Appearance--> Today News theme options There you can find logo image url and header banner url.. Just delete the header banner if you don't need it.. Create a Logo or WP blog title words as a image using Photoshop or Paint.net or anything you are more comfortable with Then Follow the url provided in "Logo Image" by logging into your hosting account and access the file , for eg http://xxxxxxxx.com/wp-content/themes/TodaysNews/images/logo.png And upload your new image and either rename it as logo.png or upload the with xxxx.png name and in Your theme options change the logo image uri as http://xxxxxxxx.com/wp-content/themes/TodaysNews/images/xxxx.png I think this will clear out your problem.
