    This is a template, and i dont know how to edit the categories on the top, so that i can edit them in the admin.. let me know

    That's flash animaation, you need to have the .fla file to edit it

    are you sure there is no theme option to give u the access to link the header with the requested categories , or theme function in the appearance editor?

    like he said, there is no way to do that unless edit the .fla which if supplied can be done.
