I have an email form on a website coded with RWD. The template came with an email form but I can't see any code on it at all and when you click on it, it goes to a 404 page. I can send you the URL by private message if you like. All I need is for the text entered by the visitor to be sent to my email, and don't have a clue as to how to start. Is there any easy cut and paste solution that I can do without learning anything to do with coding? Thanks in advance!
Hi, I'm new to this and can't figure out how to send you the URL privately. Can you tell me? And besides, you might not believe this but I lived in Rocky for almost half a year. I never wanted to leave! I'd do anything to go eat at the Sizzler at the mall and I'd come back to live there in a heartbeat!
haha small world, so you mentioned your site frontend is responsive web design, are you running php and mysql or are you using .net? or something else? Sending mails from a form is pretty easy and straight forward, You can just send a POST to the same page and then simply parse it from php and send the email. it all depends on what mail functions are available on your server and what technology you are running in your hosting environment, but if you PM me the contact page i can suss it out for you, I think you can just click my profile and send a message.
Hi, I've just sent you a PM through Start A Conversation. I'm using none of the above. I just got a basic template that's all in HTML and I just filled in the blanks. As for parsing to PHP you might as well ask me to pilot the space shuttle as I have no clue. I have a fully featured shared hosting and have had email forms before but not in this RWD page. Say hi to the wonderful people of Rocky for me. They may not know it but I'm convinced they and you live in paradise!
