I have a Twitter account with over 270,000 followers. I tweet motivational and Inspiring tweets and every follower is original and hard earned. I want some ideas from the professionals to make some real bucks, and I don't like to spam my account with Mylikes and stuff like this.

Although 270,000 followers seems like a lot, from my experience twitter traffic doesn't convert well at all.

You will probably be better off to just have a page with some PPC advertising on it to see if you can get any clicks on your ads.

Another option, of course, would be to offer your services on fiverr. With real followers you can probably get at least some results for those who will purchase your gig. Most twitter related gigs on fiverr are nothing but empty promises, so you'll stand out almost instantly there.

Traffic from my twitter account is good, normally I get 1200 views from 3 tweets on my website but my adsense RPM is very low, so I gave up on my website after a few months.

    hi uzy,

you can use this site http://sponsoredtweets.com

you can benefit from this site and earning money by posting sponsored tweets that work like affiliate programs.

You can find there a lot of offers to promote several products. But the essential part here that you should pick an offer that is related to your community and relevant to your follower's interests and actually benefits them.

It sounds like you have a mismatch between your website's mission and the content on your Twitter feed. Adsense is going to stink with generic traffic.

Since you are sending out motivational and inspirational tweets, you need to find a way to tap into that interest on your website and to promote to it. That could be offering products that help people improve their lives physically, financially, or mentally. I'd suggest doing reviews of products which you find inspiring and can be purchased on Amazon or another site. Also, look for the most motivating exercise, diet, and motivational products available, preferably with a high commission to review and share.

Also, don't forget to try to build an email list with your site. Setup a subscribe, or opt-in form in the sidebar tied to something they would want, and allows you to send them a series of promotional emails in the future.

    That's a good starting point...

You could always try creating a free ebook with some affiliate links in it and promoting it on your Twitter account and website. The only problem is, I'm not sure what kind of products you could really promote to people who are reading quotes. That's a very general niche and you'd really need to think of something that a good portion of those users could relate to and be interested in buying.

Odds are, the niche will not convert great but it's worth a try. I'd really start trying to build a more targeted niche if I were you, though.

perhaps the site and the twitter profile is a miss match I assume, though yeah it's really hard to convert on twitter but with at 1-3% of margin you can make a good money out of it.

Without a site to direct them to, this is a tough dilemma. The e-book with affiliate links is a sound idea & shouldn't be terribly difficult to pull off if you were to choose a topic that all of the quotes centered around. If it were me, I think I'd go with setting up a site that sells plaques/t-shirts etc. with favorite quotes on them customized to the buyer (since people are willing to pay extra for customized items), unless you can find a reputable affiliate company that's doing this in a way that you like. Even if you can find an affiliate company that does it, you'd still want a landing page of some kind & it would have to be interesting enough to keep people coming back.

I'm wondering why those people are focusing on just making money with their large numbers of followers. It will be hard for them to convert in this medium and I would suggest to concentrate on building their brand names with this fast paced Twitter.

Can I make a suggestion. What if you throw up a wordpress site, build it with some of your content you have put on twitter. You could even take a couple of tweets, and find a matching royalty free photo and turn an everyday tweet into an inspirational photo.
It might take a bit of work, but then once a week you can try to make one new tweet into a inspirational pic, and you just start to mention your site -> your not spamming ads, you are simply offering people who love your content a more attractive way to read your content. And if you do have a large amount of traffic to your website, monetizing your website should be alot easier then monetizing twitter users.

I do not think you can earn alot from your existing twitter users at all with this method, but I still think it is a solid suggestion.
