Need help with this one!

I have a few sites that I have been able to get ranked number 1 for their core keywords and I seem to have the basics of link building down. But now I have a site that I am struggling with building backlinks.

    Florida Shore Fishing

The site already ranks #1/2 for “Florida Shore Fishing” but there are many other much more competitive keywords that I am targeting. Here is what I am doing so far:

    Forum Commenting
    Blog Commenting
    EzineArticles.com (and other article sites)

I am having a VERY hard time finding any other way to link. I have a few out there, but next to none are indexed yet (the site is new). Finding webmasters that are willing to link to me is proving to be very difficult!

What creative solutions do you have?

As it is seen that your targeted location is Florida, you should start keyword research for that. You can check the competition for the keyword through Google Keyword Research Tool, WordTracker or any other keyword research tools those are available online. Then you should submit your Website to the location specific directories which can be more helpful for you.

You could also try social bookmarking, press releases, and directory submissions. What article submission sites are you using? You might want to give Squidoo and Hubpages a shot. Make sure your content is unique and high quality though.

Obviously, it's time to buy and exchange links. The main issue is to find really quality websites to place links on.

Two services that would be very helpful are:

    www.getgoodlinks.net (to buy links)
    www.linkmarket.com (to exchange)

    * try to submit your website to dmoz.org
    * use social bookmarking(digg, stumble, mybloglog)
    * create vidoes and submit them to youtube, metacafe, etc,
    * do not get too many backlinks i a short time,
    * do not use blog commenting a lot,
    * try to create really helpful and unique content,
    * give links to other valuable websites,
    * use google webmaster tools,

write an article on your topic and post it on squidoo, it will get an authority link from Google, have you tried social bookmarking, when done correclty it works.
