    Hi guys i have just installed Text Link ads to my website and got my first sale however the adverts are making all my pages show this error and nothing else.

    "Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tla_updatelocalxml() (previously declared in /home/willboy2/public_html/comm8/module/gentlesource_module_tla/gentlesource_module_tla.class.inc.php:237) in /home/willboy2/public_html/menus/side_menu.php on line 88"

    Does anyone have a clue as to how i can fix this, or what is wrong with my site?

    Thanks.

    i think it's best to check with TLA themselves.

    I have had TLA ads on 3 sites for several months. But I am seeing errors like the following on all of them now.

    =====================================
    n"; for ($i = 0; $i < count($arr_xml['URL']); $i++) { echo "

    ".$arr_xml['BeforeText'][$i]." ".$arr_xml['Text'][$i]." ".$arr_xml['AfterText'][$i]."\n"; } echo "
    "; } } function tla_updateLocalXML($url, $file, $time_out) { if($handle = fopen($file, "a")){ fwrite($handle, "\n"); fclose($handle); } if($xml = file_get_contents_tla($url, $time_out)) { $xml = substr($xml, strpos($xml,'(.*?)
    ======================================

    I have sent a message to Tech Support but no response. I have tried to re-install the code but no luck....

    I presume you have included their widget/libs too many times.

    I think you should now first remove ALL their widgets & code from your site.

    And then re-install.

    Wow the text link ads help desk people are morons, they thought my site was a wordpress site therefore that i should be using the wordpress code.

    Surely a team of staff which deal with these sorts of questions daily should know the different between a wordpress and a site that is not a wordpress.

    I have had problems with text link ads too. In the beginning it was like they were changing my ad code and not telling me, then I would get a nasty email saying my ads are not showing and I will be removed if I don't comply quickly. It is very frustrating but I think that I got it straightened out.

    I have found that they are one of the best for consistent income every month though.

    Yeah they seem really good the overall business angle, however support is rubbish. They don't understand that my site is not a wordpress. So obviously i need the code, i have tried the PHP but it messes up all my other pages.

    Very frustrating especially when i have people that have purchased ad spots already.

    Uh... darn.

    Well... PHP should work. Don't quite get it why it messes up all other pages?

    well i guess there must be a problem with their server or coding that is why it is happening to your site.

    just use adsense on your sites in the mean time, check the TLA new or watch out for their emails to see if they have come up with a fix for this....
