I need some clarification on building links to my sites. Ok what I understand in a simple way is we submit to directories and post to blogs with our urls pointing to our sites. Is this called linkbacks if so I used a generic tool to show my linkbacks to my sites and all I get is 0, but I know my links have been submitted around in directories and blogs. I do see in my cpanel a few hundred links from direct bookmarks and links that were clicked to get to my site. Now another thing how do I find out were is my link submitted or placed. I need to know if my links are in any social sites I did a test from a few social sites and need to know if I am building any seo credit through social sites. Thanks.
If site uses no follow link they do not add Pr to your site. You can use yahoo and search for site site:mysite.com and then click links it will show what sites have link on it not if they use no follow. Links from other sites are backlinks and try to get links from related topics and sites.
