Hello! I am very new to Joomla just installed 2 days ago. I am trying to set up a state wise business directory for a country. All States will have same categories. First I thought of installing Joomla and Sobi2 on different sub domains for different States but then I realized that user will need to make different accounts for each sub domain so I dropped this idea. Now I am setting up directory with States as Main Category and under them there will be different sections(sub categories) same for each state (Main category) The problem I am facing is that I want to make a filed Named: State READONLY on entry form so that user cannot post in wrong state. I can do it for one value only because there will be only one template for entry form. Is there any way I can achieve it? Or can any one help me with jfusion setup (I am too noob to understand hard core technical things) My knowledge about PHP is almost ZERO Or give me some solution please.
I have done this type website in wordpress multinetwork sites with http://directorypress.net/ script. But you can try with any of these components from http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/multiple-sites I think.
