I have submitted 2 sitemaps for my website to google webmaster tool Below is what it shows Sitemap name downloaded submitted Indexed sitemap.xml Nov 25, 2009 128 23 web-design/sitemap.xml Nov 25, 2009 86 0 Now I dont understand all my links in my website and sitemap are valid and working so why google is not indexing them. Also for 2nd sitemap which is for wordpress blog I have created a sitemap using wordpress plugin which has done job beautifully but still no indexing. Than I posted some articles in ezine and it is showing in result when I search for my website name/web-design but still in webmaster tool it is 0. Has google blocked that pages and decided to never take them?.
Just because you submit a sitemap to Google, it doesn't mean Google is going to index them pages. You will have to wait in order for Google to index the pages, or get more backlinks. Getting more backlinks is the best way.
Yes but I got the links from ezine like maybe 2-3 links? Also when I take back links do I have to do it for page which is not indexed or I can do for homepage?
may be you have less content on pages that's why they are not being cache by Google. do social bookmarking of your pages. social bookmarking sites list:- http://seoprofessional24.wordpress.com/
