Buying Need help with server move

    Hi,
    need help with moving a big site 20GB+ to another server.
    If you have a fast connection and are experienced in this sort of thing please pm me.

    If its a file that large, you can ask your host if they can move it for you. Chances are they have a T1 line so moving 20gb file will only take a few hours if that.

    If anyone else helps you, they will have to download the file to their PC first and then upload it to your new server which could take many hours. So ask your host first!!

    Agreed on asking the hosting - most decent hosts will do this for you (even shared). Otherwise can't you just shell into the server and ftp from server to server from the command line? For windows you can do the same with remote desktop.
