Hi all, I just put together the site http://www.clearwaterfljobs.com/. My goal is to get it ranked high for search terms "Clearwater FL Jobs" & similar variations.

I'm looking for help with strategy on how to do this. I've been doing a little work myself to get some backlinks, but what else can I do?

    Any strategy/advice???

if you want ranking in this keyword "Clearwater FL Jobs" first your domain is SEO friendly so its not problem also don't use more keywords in content, title and in mata tags. Use white hat SEO techniques like SEO friendly content, keywords Density, Good Submission content bcz already your domain is very powerful so don't use black hat SEO.

I think you need to add some content. Other then Adsense and your scripts/feeds, there really isn't any.

I also think you should add some text there. And possibly link.

Doing backlinks more will get you a better page rank. The ways include forum posting, blog commenting, bookmarking, article submission, directory submission, etc.

    All above is good advice!

It looks like it's only a "job search" fed by Indeed ... yes, Indeed is a great job search website!

I always like to use this free online tool to see how my website looks to spiders/crawlers...

    seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html

This tool crawls your website and gives very good instant details about what it finds.

    Have great day!

first you will do social bookmarking and social networking. social bookmarking and social networking are best for website promotions and change the content of the page you must keep the more related keywords in the page and submit your page to google bot.

What kind of work have you been doing to get those backlinks...

Write and distribute articles, blog comment, forum sig posting, press release submissions and so-on. Have you done any of these?

Otherwise I can for you, and get you ranked for those keywords.

Get links from related sites. Forums would also help you. Build links here using signatures!

Add good quality content with keywords like 'Clearwater jobs' 'Clearwater FL jobs' and mention the keyword phrase in the title, in h2 tags etc. This can get you good ranking seo-wise for your site.

Thanks all. This is good stuff. I've been learning a lot.

So far I've been submitting to directories and such. I think I'm going to add some content that focuses on my keywords as well as just continuing to work on the backlinks

Your not really pushing for traffic. You want "targeted traffic" It doesn't matter if you have people from other states looking at your site! I would register your domain in local directories. I would also post links on local TV and Radio station websites. If you are a member of the Chamber of Commerce, I would post a link on there site as well.

You want to target local traffic.
