I started a used and new automotive and marine parts classifieds website for my home island (Vancouver island) Pretty big, as it has the capital of BC on it.

Anyways, I dont know what the top keyword or top keyphrase i should target? Can anyone help, i dont know how to figure that out.

    Thanks"!

I haven't researched anything, but if I lived around Vancouver and needed to find a waterpump for my car, I'd search for Vancouver (island) auto parts. Good luck. The site looks good!

Have you tried the 'keyword tool' in Google AdWords? (Assumes you have an account for AdWords of course!).

The GTrends tool at WordTracker is pretty good. Not only does it suggest keywords and provide you with approximate traffic but it also hooks up with Google Trends data to provide you with the actual traffic that the #1 site in Google gets for that keyword.

see some seo keyword tools and see the number of searches of your prospective keywords,.

remember, the higher searches with a lower competitions is the best choice,.

Find out what people are searching for the most and target it. There are plenty of online tools to help you determine this.
