Need help with refund on paypal!!!!!!

well anyway I'm really inexperience with paypal and i bought something online but it hasn't arrived yet, I've already waited like a week and the seller state that the product should arrive in 1-2 days but every time I chatted with them they say its out of stock and check back later. And when I asked for refund he stated that i need to send him a picture of my id or passport and visa card(with the credit card number covered) to make sure I'm the owner of the card so now i don't know what to do........ any help would be much appreciated

or if youpay ccreditcard isue chargeback!

 

go to your resolution center in paypal and give them as much info about the purchase as possible

 

If you have found out that you have been cheated,what you should do is charge back.

 

have you sent money for digital goods? or for physical goods?
Which company is asking you for your id's? Or its paypal?
If any company is asking for your id , i suggest don't gave them , as they can use it against you if , you file dispute.
I suggest you to charge back , if you have sent credit card funds , if you used paypal funds , just open a dispute, saying , item not recieved.

I haven't had much luck with refunds. I didn't get a refund for a stolen script.

 

Depends- If its Ebay file a complaint in the dispute center. Then immediately upgrade it to a claim. They will have a week or so to refund your money. If they don't you'll probably get it back.

If not a chargeback is your only option. But, if you used your checking account or debit card to fund you're out of luck. Whenever I buy from someone I don't know I use a Crecit card for that very reason.

 

Ty for everyone's help and i'll be raising a dispute soon with paypal so hopefully i'll be able to get my money back. But my thanks to everyone who tried to help!<3 if there any more trouble i'll be posting here again.

well i think paypal always have a 30 day for refund.

 

Paypal never knows the truth, its always a risk factor with them in any dispute.
