I'm currently working with a client who is asking for help with press release distribution for his new website.

Can anyone recommend good distribution services?

What do you mean? A Preass Release site that we can recommend, or can we help you?

I have many different Website Review blogs that are very powerful for that type of launch as they wear PR4s as well as a PR5

We also have many different sites to promote the site as well as links and such!!

PM if interested in hearing more!!

    http://www.prnewswire.com/
    and
    http://www.prweb.com

These are to two top distributions sites. They aren't cheap but they are real good.

Don't let anybody talk you out of a press release. If what you have to say is truly newsworthy . not much compares...

Any kind of help would be nice. I'm new to PR distribution. I'm used to producing content for other people who distribute and publish it themselves.

I'll get back to you on your Website Review blogs. I have to consult with the client about that but I'm really interested. I'll PM you soon.

Thanks for the links. I'm going going through them right now. The rates look competitive enough and my client doesn't mind paying for good press release distribution anyway. As long as it gets the work done real well, right?

If you have to pay to get listed on blogs, it's not press release distribution; it's advertising, and you'll hurt your credibility with any real media. Remember, the idea isn't to get the release posted to blogs. It's to have the release inspire unique stories in every outlet covering it.

On my PR blog I recently posted a tutorial on how to distribute a press release for free (and effectively). Give that a read to set you in the right direction.

Web site reviews that you pay for can be another good route if you need to build up viewers, PR, etc. I say can, because you need to know what to look for.

But, you don't submit press releases when you do them.

It can be helpful, though, if someone else has something to say about your website, right?

I guess the difficulty there is finding the one that your target market reads. If not, that's money down the drain for me (for my client, actually).

The site is mainly Social Shopping / E-commerce. Any good website review blogs for that?
