I just added my website to hophunt because I have $50k to spend in PPC advertising. What do I do now? If anybody can lead me into the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
- Start with keyword research. Begin with 'seed' keywords and expand by using Google Keyword Tool. - With the 'seed' keywords, work backwards from your main sales landing pages. - Categorize them into campaigns & adgroups. (Campaigns = product categories, Adgroups = sub-categories) - Adjust Max CPC bid prices so as to target 1-3 position, this way you get conversions and clicks data faster. - Write 4-5 different ad variations to test different headlines, offers, display URL and call-to-action. - Adjust ongoing Max CPC bid prices according to conversion rate. (Bid prices = Target Cost per Acquisition x Conversion %)
You'll find all the general tips anywhere in this forum... but, first of all, you need to be clear that you DO NOT commit mistakes in your PCC Campaings or you'll lose your shirt easily... amit mehta's new free report shows you the way. highly recommended.
i am not sure, this will help you 1) go to google keyword tool and find keywords with medium competetion and traffic 2) based on keywords, prepare ad groups in fact Google PPC tutorials are enough... they have a wizard kind of thing to help freshers... good luck
Before you start get as much information as possible other wise you will burn through that $50 very fast. Check out your competition first then make a PPC strategy.
If this is your first PPC campaign, start small until you get the hang of it. -create your campaign with only a few keywords that are highly relevant to your services/poducts -target those ads to a geo area where you do most of your business. -set some realistic goals by understanding the cost to generate a lead/sale and what a lead/sale is worth (you can use this tool to determine this info: http://www.bluewatermedia.com/tools/roi-calculator.html ) The important thing to remember that you should start small and minimize your losses - cause there's gonna be a learning curve.
I agree, you should do research an b careful. It very easy to go through $50k worth of adwords if you aren't sure what u doin
