Ok, I am new to adsense, but have read a couple of ebooks and guides on how to set it up. I recently created a blog, set up a template, and posted some nice content. Then, I went to adsense, created a half banner, and then copied the code. After that, I went straight into my blogger template settings and posted the code in the HTML Template. A couple people through this forum told me I can post the code anywhere in the template, but then other ebooks told me to put it in a specific spot. Well, I tried both ways and came out unsuccessful. I went back to view my blog, and there was not a banner anywhere. I really would appreciate it if somewhere here could help me out. Thanks for your time!
If you're using the new blogger, go to the Page Elements page and use html code in a page element. If you're using the old blogger (custom template) it's going to be hard work, you may have to edit the heck out of your template for proper adsense usage (I had to for mine when I used blogger). And when all else fails, get a domain, get some [free] hosting (not blogger), install wordpress, and go from there.
Well I have web hosting that I pay for becuase I use it for 2 other sites. So what you are saying, get another domain, and install wordpress on it? How would I accomplish that? Thanks!
