Hey, sorry if this is an easy question to answer (and if this is in the wrong section).. I currently am using cPanel and I can get into phpmyadmin easily without problems, however, I am not sure how to give anyone else access to that.

I have set up a mySQL account for them, however when they try to connect it asks them to connect through the :2082 port and they do not have an account on that. I just want them to have access to a single addon domain. Is there any way that someone can connect without having my cPanel info? Is there any easy way that I can give them access? or would I have to install a separate version of phpmyadmin within a subfolder of that addon domain?

    Thanks.

Well, Just upload phpMyadmin on your site (don't late them to use cPanel phpMyadmin) and do little settings and they can use phpMyadmin with their privileges.

You can create a mysql account with a separate user and password for that account, he can then use other means to access, including setting up a separate phpmyadmin.

Thanks guys. I was just wondering if there was an easier way of doing it. ie) asking the staff of, lets say hostgator, to create an account so that he could use. (as he also needs a bit more than just phpmyadmin access) :(
