Need Help (with phpBB)

    Well I just downloaded it. And I'm trying to install it and I have no clue what program I need or what to install it believe me I tried I just don't know so don't call me stupid :) I just don't know.


    If someone can give me a step by step information that would be great!

    You can Auto-Install it using Fantastico from you cPanel.

    Just tell the system your administrator name, password and directory where to install and it will automatically install phpbb for you in 2-3 clicks.

    Remember to change your MYSQL host to localhost - it will be easier to install it ;)

    If your going to install it to your machine locally, you need apache install to your machine, if your having problem how to install apache, you can use apachefriends or xampp for easier installation. To install it to your webhost server, just upload everything to your website on a new folder and make a new MySQL for that installation.

    PhpBB got a VERY DETAILED INSTALLATION GUIDE :)

    and You can Auto Install it through fantastico in your Cpanel

    It usually comes with all Hosts..

    If your gonna own a small PhpBB I would suggest you to go for TmzHosting.com
    They have PhpBB auto install and great support..
