Hi, im having a good deal of problems trying to figure out how to correctly configure openvpn on clients machines, I don't think I am creating the keys, certificates or creating a config file for the client correct either.

I have open vpn installed on my vps running centos. I had my host install it for me, but I can not figure out how to make keys for clients so they can connect. Can someone out there help me? OR is willing to team view me and show me how to set up client config files and make some keys. (willing to pay for your time and services)

I really want to get my vpn up. someone help..thanks.

    Hi,

Basic steps to install OpenVPN on server:
    1. copy config file to /etc/opvpn directory.
    2. You need to create certificate files.
    3. modify your openvpn config file for your request.
    4. Open port on firewall for openpn.

Basic steps to install OpenVPN on client computer:
    1. Install client program on your computer.
    2. Copy certificates to your machine what you generated on serve.
    3. Modify config file on client machine.
    4. Test the connection whit the server.

    These are the basic steps.

If you want I can send you example config files for you which I using everywhere. Just send me one PM message whit your e-mail address and I will be forward you the files.
