I recently took my business online, easyuni.com (live links are not available to me now), we provide cheap university textbooks. I was hoping to get more insight on how to improve the ranking, traffic and of course search engine optimization. Just FYI, we have been running this business for 4-5 months locally. And we are planning to help the students with their expenses such as laptop servicing, helping them get tutors and also start tutoring HSC students. What will be the best way to go on about things? Hey, welcome! here's some ideas. -analyze keywords in this market. use these keywords on your site, do the meta tags, heading title, etc -advertise on craigslist or backpage so you can target locals -consider getting an affiliate program -write articles, participate in forums, blogs, social bookmarking, etc also, what hosting are you using? some hosts like godaddy give you free $ with ppc advertising like with google currently good luck!
Thanks for your help. One doubt - What kind of affiliate programs? Could you provide some good ones? I am with justhost. How is godaddy? I was going for that in the beginning, but they had too many questions/subscriptions and offers for which you had to pay. Got annoyed while registering for it
