I was just trying to upgrade my WordPress to 2.7 and now my site won't come up. Its giving an error connecting to database message. I replaced the wp-admin and wp-includes folders and all the files in the main root folder for the site. Now the site isn't working. I'm sure its something simple. I'll pay $7 to the person that can get my site up and running again. The site is:

    http://www.hotporschecars.com

Please be good at Wordpress so this can be resolved quickly.

    Skype me at: outcyde

    Thanks,

    Buddha

Make sure your wp-config has the correct details in it for connecting to your database.

Also make sure that the wp-config-sample.php is renamed to wp-config.php

If you replaced the files and folders this is probably a problem

I checked my cpanel for the database and its not there anymore. Did I delete it when erasing the files in my WP directory through my FTP client?

If you replaced the files in the root folder then you most likely do not have a wp-config.php file but instead you will have wp-config-sample.php Did you check that?
