Hi there everyone, I have a wordpress blog and want to use adsense ads on them but I am new to adsense. How can I add plugins and/or widgets so that managing them becomes easier? Also, i tried putting the code in the text widget but nothing came up on the blog..is this only with me? I also read somewhere that one can implement the ad codes directly thorugh posts, how is it exactly done? Any help will be welcomed
Google "adman" for wordpress. It allows you to put Adsense ads before or after a post and there's also a code you can use to place them directly in the post at the position you choose.
I advise you to read wordpess documentation... No one could answer you directly such question... be more specific..and besides, it depends on the template that you are using.
if your "Recent blog" is any indicator, you are trying to use adsense with wordpress.com hosted blogs...adsense on them is not possible.... seems you are confused with wordpress.org which is the self hosting option
as geekologu said, you cannot use adsense on wordpress.com. but if you have a wordpress blog on a hosted domain, then you are not doing it right. if the text widget is not showing your adsense ad, then you must not be using the right size ad. try using a smaller version of ad unit and see how it works. you can also edit the CSS file to include adsense code on the post or above the post if you want. for better belp, you need to put the adsense code on the blog and show us the URL
I think it is because i am using a wordpress.com blog. Is there no way to put an ad on a wordpress.com blog?
