    Hi!

Well, this is one of my new websites that I'm working on. The problem is, when it first get crawled, it was on first page google and then it disappeared (it's always like this for new website). And then, i managed to get it to 2nd page google. after a few days, it went down to third page.

after a few days it's on third page, then i realized that i didn't put title, description and meta tags for the page. So, i added them - and a day later, it went disappeared - not found at all.

Is that normal? Is that because of it's still new or because of the meta tag and stuff that I have just added?

No, that isn't normal. Not if it was on the first page. The addition of title tags etc should have improved the rankings. what's the Url?

The page is new so it got what's called a "new content modifier". It's basically Google's way of getting a new package, setting it on the counter, and then figuring out where to place on the store shelves.

As for the page disappearing, did you create a Google Webmasters account and check the site's status with it?

Don't make any changes since this may be temporary. If it's not, contacting Google to find out what's going on would be a good idea. (Especially if Google's Webmaster Tools, which I recommended earlier, don't show anything.)

As Dan has suggested, your first step should be to go on Google's Webmaster Tools and check the status of your site.

I can tell you that, as yours is new it takes times for google to set the position of your site. Why did you reach the top page because, generally for the search term the URLs of the results are not updated( i mean no new links and information).

As you know google always try to add the latest content at the top, so you got yours. But if you have developed link building continuously when you have reached the top then your position could have maintained. In the past, when i update my blog it reached the first position. Or else it used to be in 3rd to 4th position.

Ofcourse this is not the case right now. Now mine is in first place. But the keyword is not that much popular anyway. Just want to provide an example.
