There have been many people suspended recently on eBay for unknown things. I have heard stories of people being banned just because they work in company as someone who go banned on eBay and use the same ip address.
Really depends if your suspension is indefinite or just a minor one. But knowing eBay, they will suspended for any reason possible even if they can justify or not.
It is very difficult to get suspended account active in ebay. All you can do it send them 1 sorry polite email every week and tell them you won't repeat this again. I account was suspended for 1.5 years and i send over 50 polite emails + 50 calls to ebay managers and finally they removed the suspension. It is really difficult in doing business in ebay, amazon,etsy or any other website. It cannot go more than 2 years because their would be something like their policy violation and they will shut their account. These organizations are so strong that even the president of USA could not do anything against them.
Call them. I had restrictions on mine lifted. i would imagine calling them will help you resolve any issues. be brutally honest. i've called
