Need help with my ads

I just made a basic ad. Most of my keywords arent triggering to appear on google, and I got 1 click with 3,264 impressions.
I wish someone can tell me what the following big steps I should go for.
Because there are too many issues, I have no idea where should I start with.
And one more question, how does cost of per conversion work? Is it another extra money we have to pay?

Delete your campaign. Then learn everything you can about AdWords before starting over. You should not have started using AdWords without knowing even the basics. You will definitely lose money if you proceed without doing some learning.

Start your studies with the following resources:

    AdWords Help Center
    AdWords Learning Center

If you get stuck, ask in the forum.

I agree with what masterful said. STOP right now and read the google manual before taking any additional steps.

If you are a business and do not have time to learn the adwords system, then I highly recommend hiring an adwords account manager to do it for you.

To follow up on what masterul and robert said I also think it is a good idea to read as much as you can from a few of the forums that address these issues.

The Google Help Center is full of great information but lacks a lot of detailed information that experienced members can provide. I also think that you should have a very clear idea of how you want to setup your campaign before you begin. The more questions you can answer before you start spending money the better off you will be.

    Good Luck.

It is easy to spend a lot of money and get zero results from Google if you don't know what you're doing. Check out the resources mentioned above, and if possible find a buddy who has experience and maybe he can help you get started.

You certainly need to read google manual. If you aren't that good on ad words I guess you always have the option to get professional assistance on that. On my experience it worked better than doing it by my own.

A conversion means you made a sale.

Hence, Cost per conversion is how much did it cost you to make that sale. You don't have to pay extra for it. It's just an automatic computation at Google adwords.

Cost per conversion = Total costs incurred divided by number of conversions (number of sales)

It looks like you have too many keywords in one adgroup. Try to limit your number of keywords to around 10 to 20 per adgroup.

Quite good advices up. First read everything and then start. If you chose CPC payment, anyways you did not lose money, only time. Another advice - hire a copywriter. After I did, CTR doubled for all campaigns I run.

This is a prime example of why shitty books on how to use AdWords sell so well.

Maybe I should try my hand at writing one, hmm.

I became aware about how useless a book can be when I started and that's when I knew I had to get professional assistance. So I guess is better that way unless you get to know everything it's required.
