Need help with Memcache or Memcached for Wordpress PHP

    I was told to add Memcached to my php I use a wordpress site and I was wondering how I can do this? Does anyone know, because I am not tech savy and just a blogger, but my site was slowing down because of the cache and I was told to use a memcache.

    Does this cost money or is it free to install?
