I just recently purchased a logo in PSD format.

But how can I make it my logo on my website? Or how can i convert it to a .jpg file?

On the 'File' menu, choose the 'Save for Web' option. From there, click on the 'Preset' drop-down menu on the right side of the window, and choose 'JPEG High' while changing the default 60 to 100 in the 'Quality' number box right below the preset option. Finally, click the 'Save' button, choose a folder to save in and upload it to your site.

Edit: For some reason I assumed you already knew it was a Photoshop document. :)

PSD is a Photoshop Document. You're going to need Adobe Photoshop to export it to a PNG or a JPG.

There are other tools that have some level of read support for PSD's, like irfanview, The GIMP and imagemagick.

You might also be able to snag a version of Photoshop Elements pretty cheap.

    Hope this info helps!

Or you could even ask the person who made it for you to provide it in .jpg format.
