i want to insert my adsense codes inside the " sponsors" widget in the right sidebar section.

But the sponsors widget is not available in the widget section of the wordpress theme.

can some one tell me on which place i need to go on the theme editor section to insert my adsense code there ??

thanks for your help in advance..

    Hello kim011,

You need to go to your sidebar.php. Here find this code:

    <div class="banner">

Paste the adsense code right below this code segment. Your adsense ads will start appearing.

This is a premium theme. I guess there must an option for that.

    Hi,

an easier way is to go to your wordpress dashboard, and scroll down to appearance and select widgets.

Then select which sidebar you want to put your code into, either main sidebar, blog sidebar, user sidebar etc.

Make sure there is a "text" box widget in the sidebar you want to use, if not drag one over.

Then paste your code into your text box. Click save and you are done.

i have work as per your instructions and placed the ad code right below the code .. but looks what it happens ..

    http://firstprize.net/2011/05/target-paintball/

my ads are not displaying also the "sponsors widget box" size become large ..

any other way to fix this ??

this is a premium theme but an old version .. i need to insert ads codes manually with in the editor...

the widget box option is for main page only ..

i want to insert the code for the insider page only

A relative plugin for ad management that could handle this task and more is WP Traffic Tools or The Best Advertising Plugin.

If I where you I would use a plugin unless your building a wordpress theme yourself.

Easy Adsense is OK but there are others. Do a Google search for "Wordpress Ad Plugins" or the like. You'll find an answer for wordpress site issues every time.

If you are placing code in a custom page like full width you need to find the area you want to put it. Use firefox web tools addons and firebug.

Its a good idea to learn the basics of a wordpress theme and the content management system in general.

    Every theme is different.

    Hope that helps
