Need Help with Implementing Re-Marketing on Wordpress

Does anyone know how to do re-marketing on a Wordpress website?

Essentially it is about showing visitors relevant pages based on their browsing history of your website.

The high level overview is

1. Create a Google Display campaign
2. Add remarketing tags to every page of your site
3. Give the remarketing tags some time to generate a remarketing list
4. Once you have decent remarketing list (time is dependant on the traffic to your site) give the campaign some budget and start remarketing
5. Once you have some metrics start optimising your placements

I realise its brief but that really is the basics. I am not sure of your Adwords experience so play it safe and set some tight budgets because mistakes can get costly really quickly.

However, I'm not looking at Google remarketing ads.
Is there a way to capture the visitor's browsing history, and from there, show him/her relevant webpages/content?

 

What about PPV via a toolbar? You set your target URLs that relate to your offer and the toolbar displays the impression when the browser visits one of your target URLs.
Of course that limits you to PPV traffic networks, Trafficvance and the such.

 

Some of the PPV companies let you target not only by URL but also by keyword (within a URL) see cdsp.tlvmedia.com
